Colette Jane Fehr is a licensed psychotherapist, nationally recognized relationship expert, and author of The Cost of Quiet: How to Have the Hard Conversations That Create Secure, Lasting Love (Putnam / Penguin Random House, February 3, 2026).
She is the co-host of two shows: the popular podcast Insights from the Couch and Love Thy Neighbor, a weekly relationship talk show on Real Radio 104.1 (also available wherever podcasts are streamed). Her 2025 TEDx talk, Secrets of a Couples Therapist, was selected as a TED Editors’ Pick.
Colette has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Oprah Daily, The Knot, and the San Francisco Chronicle, and has appeared on major broadcast outlets from Tampa to Chicago. She’s also a regular contributor on Good Day Orlando Extra on Fox 35.
She grew up in Rye, New York, and now lives in Orlando, Florida, with her family.
